1. Inlet passage
The spacious and elegant entrance is very important and will leave a good first impression on the guests. Too small and cramped population will make people feel very uncomfortable. The main desk in the lobby is an essential main place. If conditions permit, its location should not face the gate as much as possible. This can not only give guests who go through relevant formalities at the main desk a relatively comfortable space, but also reduce the excessive commercial atmosphere.
2. Corridors
The passage of the corridor is best to leave a quiet and safe atmosphere for the guests. The door of the corridor can be recessed into the wall surface. The recessed place can make the guests not affect the walking of others when opening the door, but the recess should not be too deep, preferably about 450cm. Otherwise, when you enter and leave, others will be frightened and lose their sense of security. The light should not be too bright or dim, but soft and without glare.
Wall light or wall edge light reflection lighting can be considered, and a door opening light should be designed above the door to make guests feel thoughtful. Try not to choose too light-colored carpets for the aisle of the guest room, but to choose dirt-resistant and durable carpets. The skirting board on the wall can be appropriately higher, about 200cm, so as to prevent the side of the luggage cart from hitting the wallpaper, which not only prevents damage, but also provides convenience for walking.
3. Guest Room
The guest room is an important origin for the hotel to obtain operating income. It is the longest and most private occasion for customers to use after check-in. It is best to use water-resistant and stain-resistant materials on the guest room floor, because some guests will open the bathroom door to shower or wash their hands, so that water will splash out or be brought out by the guest's hair.
The door of the wardrobe should not make opening or sliding noise, and the track should be made of aluminum or steel. Because the noise often comes from the deformation of the hinge or slide. At present, it is popular to use the design method of opening the wardrobe door and turning on the lights inside the wardrobe. In fact, this is dangerous. It is better to have an independent control switch for the lights in the wardrobe, otherwise it will leave hidden dangers of fire or electric shock.
Mini bar (wine cabinet) boiling water socket should not be too close to the table, at least 50-60cm distance, otherwise when inserted into the socket, the tail line of the socket is hard and cannot be bent and cannot be used. The mirror behind the cabinet should be used as an anti-fog mirror, because fog will be generated when boiling water.
The lights on the ceiling are best used for energy-saving downlights with frosted glass covers, so there is no glare.
4. Toilet
The design of the bathroom can have many forms. I believe many designers have opened their brains, but some design aspects should be paid attention:
(1) a lot of hotel bathroom ceiling selection of waterproof gypsum board, in fact, it is not recommended to use aluminum plate or other surface rust waterproof metal materials;
(2) The floor under the door of the toilet should be equipped with a waterproof stone board to prevent the water in the toilet from flowing into the room channel, preferably with a little inclination;
(3) Choose a quiet toilet with large pumping power. Don't choose too complicated shower facilities. Choose commonly used and easy-to-operate equipment. Some of them are too complicated or novel, and guests may not use them or suffer injuries due to improper use;
(4) bathroom with shower glass room, be sure to use safety glass, glass door side is best equipped with rubber strips, both waterproof seepage, but also can make the glass door open more gentle and comfortable;
(5) The mirror should be anti-fogging, and the mirror should be large, because the bathroom is generally small, and the space is visually and psychologically spacious due to mirror reflection. The clever use of mirrors in the bathroom will have an unexpected effect;
(6) The floor tiles of the toilet shall be non-slip and stain resistant. Floor tiles and wall tiles are finally covered with white or other colors of waterproof glue, leaving dirt nowhere to hide;
(7) The mirror headlight should have an anti-glare device, and the downlight in the middle of the ceiling is best to use frosted glass cover
(8) The floor of the shower room should be designed to be non-slip, and the bathtub can also be equipped with a non-slip design.
